Sweet Bender was surrendered by owners to San Bernardino City Shelter with 2 siblings. One sibling was sent to a different shelter, one was adopted, but Bender was hidden in the very hard to see isolation kennels for being scared.

So Bender sat at SBC for over a month. A Cause foster went to SBC to meet urgent large dogs, because the shelter was full. A volunteer that has been working with Bender brought him out. He had been helping Bender walk on a leash and gain confidence and explained Bender was a staff favorite and they really wanted him to make it out.

Within a few days out of the shelter, Bender has flourished. He loves walks, learned to walk up the stairs in his foster home, gets along with other dogs, and is finally enjoying life! Email cause4sbpaws@gmail.com and complete an application now to give Bender the life he deserves.
