My name is Portia, my past is behind me now, and I'm ready for a bright future with a loving family - something I never had. I was confiscated, along with 20 of my chi brothers, sisters, & cousins, from horrid conditions and taken to Devore Animal Shelter.

That's where I met Cause for SB Paws. They got me and a few others out. It still hasn't been easy for me. After my spay, my abdomen bruised pretty badly, and I stopped eating. Blood tests and xrays show I'm OK, but I need to let my belly heal and get my confidence back. I wag my tail now and lay on my back for belly rubs. I also love car rides - staring out the window is so fun!

I like this new life, and once I'm fully healed, I can't wait to live the good life with a loving family!

Since I was never around kids, it's best to find a household with teenagers or older. I've never nipped at a child - I'm just not used to them.
