Our heart always goes out to BLACK dogs, seniors, and medical issue babies.

Dori is all of the above. Black labs have a better chance than other black breeds, but Dori is an older baby (10 years), and she has hypothyroidism and arthritis, being treated by current owner who just does not have the time Dori deserves.

Dori was rescued from Devore as a puppy 10 years ago, and graduated from an amazing program that existed back then - Glen Helen Rehabiitation program, where inmates trained rescued dogs. (See article - her name was Princess then.) Dori knows sit, down, stay, and as you can see in her pictures - "gimme paw!" Dori is a special old soul with a special story. 

Dori deserves a great new family, who will give her the best last few years of her life!
