Casper and his friends (Bear, Nino, Alaska, Destiny, and Maverick) were rescued from a backyard of 50+ dogs in Rialto, CA before they could be confiscated by animal control and sent to high-kill Devore Animal Shelter. They are safe and cozy now with C4SBPs and are receiving the vetting and care needed before being put up for adoption.

Casper is so amazingly sweet and friendly and mellow, you'd think he never went through hard times! He is so adorable, in fact, that we took him with us the day we rescued him, to a college class for a presentation about our rescue. He is a prime example of the beautiful dogs that need to be rescued - why people should adopt a rescued dog and never shop (buy from a breeder). He was the perfect little student as he waited his turn to speak to the group about his experiences. ;)

Casper and his friend Bear were originally placed in separate foster homes. Bear was a nervous wreck without his buddy.  Now, they are back together and Casper is Bear's guardian angel. These two dogs love each other so much and it would be amazing if they could find a forever home together.
