My name is Hunter and I lived in the foothills and brush just outside of Devore Animal Shelter. I was out there for a few weeks at least, because I was emaciated, as you can see in my pictures below. They set a trap and caught me one day! I was scared out of my mind. When C4SBP came to free my from the trap, I felt safe within a few minutes. I was very quick to trust, despite what I'd been through. I had to get fluids from the vet, because not only was I malnourished - I was dehydrated as well. I was dewormed and then I focused on gaining my strength back with several meals a day. Now I am healthy and happy, enjoying life in my foster home. I love my large and small canine friends, and I'm good with cats.
