William is a Pommie prince who came into our lives after Christmas from a hoarding situation. 

When we first met this little royal, he cowered and shook in the corner, ran from us, and cringed when we touched him. Slowly, with our volunteers working with him every day, he started to tolerate human touch. Then one day, he started wagging his tail and ENJOYING our touch. We were so excited to see him ENJOY a backrub and we could pick him up and hold him in our laps with no trembling!

We are not sure what happened to William, but he is still fearful of males and probably always will be. The ideal home for this boy would be a retired woman who loves his story and would enjoy continuing to build William's trust with humans. He will pay you back tenfold - in cuddles, tail wags, love and a renewed sense of comfort and trust in humans.

Per Will's foster mom: "He's soft as a teddy bear, he loves to run and prance around, likes to sit in laps and loves cuddling and watching movies on the couch. You know he's happy when he wiggles his tiny little tail and it's adorable."
