Ling Ling, AKA Midnight from Devore, needs a new home. 

We pulled her from Devore Animal Shelter in 2015 where she was rescue only due to vomiting. It turned out she had a condition called persistent right aortic arch, which made it impossible for her to hold down food.

It was corrected with surgery, and a wonderful family adopted her. Eight years later, Felicia unexpectedly passed away during the snowstorms. Ed passed away from cancer years earlier.

Ling has been with a neighbor who can’t keep her long term. So we are looking for a new home for her.

Ling is approx 8-9 years old, loves other dogs, barks at cats, has some arthritis so enjoys short walks, lazing the day away, and cuddles. She can regurgitate occasionally if she is too excited during feeding. She does best eating off a table propped up, and then crated quietly for 20 minutes after eating. 

Before she was adopted, Ling was the one who greeted our new, scared dogs just from the streets or shelters. She encouraged them to relax, play, and trust. She always carried a toy in her mouth and would invite them to play with her by walking up and offering her toy. She is an amazing girl.

We’re heartbroken for her and would love to find a new loving family.
