Sweet and stately older gentleman Benjamin is one of the coolest dogs you could ever meet! We pulled him from San Bernardino City Shelter in early December where he was urgent due to age and some masses on his rear that have since been removed. His blood work came back looking great, so surgery did not have to be delayed. Along with mass removal, he is now neutered, had a dental, is micro chipped, and fully vaccinated.

He has the keen intelligence of a husky, minus the digging, mischievousness, and wanderlust of most, due to his age. He is enjoying his golden years and has many more to go! Despite being 10 to 11-ish, he is still spritely and active and loves his walks and playtime with other dogs.

He is a wonderful travel companion –- he accompanied us to Palm Springs over the holidays and was perfect during the car ride and in the Airbnb. He does his business outside, figures out doggy doors immediately, and is not a chewer, so he has not destroyed anything in his foster home.

He loves other dogs big and small, and does like to guard his food from other dogs (if you have dogs in the home, he just needs to be fed separately).

Ben is a gem.
