Aretha is a Forever Cause Kid originally brought to our vet in a box with her 3 siblings by a homeless man who said he found them. They were sick, emaciated, dirty and terrified. Aretha was the most terrified, shaking and trying to bite anyone who came near. our vet called and asked if we could take. 

Aretha's siblings came out of their shells and are now happily adopted. To this day, Aretha still panics when we have to lasso her to trim her nails or take her to the vet. She is happy as can be with her Cause Fur-friends, but wants nothing to do with humans. So she may be with us forever!
