Gideon is a Forever Cause Kid we took in off the streets of San Bernardino in 2021. 

He was a terrified, matted, stinky mess.

In order to shave off his mats and clean him, we had to give him a mild sedative. Ever since, he has gained confidence and is a happy boy, but he will not allow human touch.

He has beautiful ling hair, but because he won't allow us to brush him regularly (or at all!), we have to sedste him and lasso him with a leash, and ever so carefully shave him and wash him up. He gets better at it every time, but is nowhere near "adoption ready." He eill most likely remain a Cause Kid forever.
