Meet 1-yr old Masha!!

This sweet bundle of energy ended up at San Bernardino City Shelter in September of 2020 with multiple pelvic fractures and a broken femur. We pulled her and got her to an orthopedic surgeon who repaired the pelvic fractures, and put her broken femur back together with pins and an external fixator,  which stayed in place until late January. She had her final surgery (removing the pins and fixator), and is now spayed, chipped, fully vaccinated, and ready for her forever home!

Her adopters need to keep in mind that she may limp for the rest of her life -- she had major repair surgery that took 4 months to heal. She received excellent care at CARES Clinic in LA, but the extent of her injuries means she may show signs on her repaired and healed injuries for the rest of her life. She may also develop arthritis in her older age. We have taken in many injured rescue babies, and they have gone on to live wonderful lives with a bit of a limp (that just gives them character). She needs a family that is comfortable with that.

She gets along with all dogs she has met, and can be a little sassy with some, but just a little bossy and nothing more. She is good with cats, but will chase them to play. She loves kids and can bark at men, but warms up quickly.
