Introducing Howser! This playful pup was stuck at San Bernardino City Shelter for 6 long months before we pulled him. He's young, cute, and sweet, so who knows why he was overlooked for so long. Even after all that time at the shelter, Howser fit right in when he came to live with his foster family.

Howser is likely about 2 years old and has a lot of puppy energy left in him. He loves to play with dogs and people alike. At 72 lbs, Howser is a lot of dog, and he is very strong. He has been working on his leash skills and is doing great! Despite his size Howser thinks he is a lap dog and loves being close to his humans. Since coming to his foster home Howser has learned to kennel, sit, down and shake. He is very excited to learn.

Howser has been good with his foster family's tweenagers, but has not met any young kids yet. Given his size and clumsiness he may do best in a home with older kids. Howser is very affectionate and loves to cuddle up with you on the couch.
