At age 12 Kona has come to us in search of his forever home and permanent family.

Kona has always known love and was happy in his home with his family until recently when his dad had to relocate.

After losing his family and his two other dog-siblings to natural ailments, Kona has experienced so much loss, and this sweet senior (who is in excellent health) deserves love and consistency in a new home. 

He is currently in foster care with our loving foster mom Tracy, who says he's a sweet and spunky boy.

Kona loves to snuggle and watch TV. He would love a retired owner or someone who works from home even post-Pandemic, and would prefer an older female fursis, or no other dogs at all, so he can be the center of your universe. When he first meets new dogs, he likes to show he's boss, but once he's done shoeingy he's #1, he gets along with everyone and plays like he's just a pup! He really doesn't know he's 12.
