Is Moira not the sweetest poodle mix you’ve ever seen? She’s been through so much, but you’d never know it.

Most likely hit by a car, Moira ended up at San Bernardino City Shelter with an injured back leg. They sent out a shelter plea so we picked her up and took her to our vet. She had a clean break in her hip, so her docs were able to plate it back together.

She’s now about 4 weeks post-op and healing beautifully. She puts a little bit of weight now on the back leg affected by the injury, which is all she’s supposed to be doing at this point. In about 4 more weeks (mid June), she’ll be ready for adoption!

Moira is about 3-4 years old, so affectionate, not a fearful bone in her body, good with other dogs, and loves to sit on your lap and just be.

We are taking pre-adoption apps now so when she’s all healed up, she can go home.
