We call Ethel our Meatball mama. She is the sweetest, roly-poliest hippo. She looks like an American Bully - short, stout, calm, friendly and just beautiful! A good Samaritan found Ethel with a male we called Fred (he was adopted) roaming the San Bernardino streets in October. She couldn't hold them so a Cause volunteer picked them up, posted found, and held them for 30 days. No owners were found.

When stray hold was up and we brought them in for spay & neuter, lo and behold Ethel was pregnant! She had her pups a few weeks later, all adopted now, and now it's Mama Ethel's turn! This sweet meatball would love a home with another active large breed male dog or two to romp around with. She loves kids, leisurely hikes (see her videos hiking with her furfriends), cuddling, and snoring the night away. :) This girl is a dream!
