This dog was found emaciated and dehydrated in Chino on July 3rd.  We are a San Bernardino based rescue, but we thought this was a dog named Chyna that escaped in San Bernardino right before she was surrendered to us, so we raced to Chino to get her only to realize this is not Chyna. 

She was in bad shape and residents had been feeding and watering and trying to catch her for several weeks, but she wouldn’t let anyone near her. We were able to catch her and get her to our vet. She is being treated for several issues including giardia, parasites, a skin issue, malnutrition, and once strong enough, she needs surgery to remove several masses, repair a hernia, dental work, and spay.

Because her condition is so bad, she was either terribly neglected by owners, or she got out several months ago and was attacked (several old wounds on her neck and legs), starving, etc. She also has had several litters based on the condition of her teats and sagging abdomen.
