Meet Bear, AKA #A713682 Armstrong from Devore Animal Shelter. His eyes looked irritated while at the shelter, and Devore noted ulcerations. It turns out he has double entropion, where a portion of the eyelid is inverted or folded inward, which causes eyelashes and hairs to irritate and scratch the surface of the eye, leading to corneal ulceration or perforation. He has his surgery tomorrow (4/23) and then in a few more weeks his neuter. Then this sweet, affectionate boy will be ready for a new home by the first week of May! 

He is friendly, affectionate, gentle, and great with their small dog and from what they can see - all dogs. We know he will make a great family dog.
