My name is Mia and I had a sad past but a happy future, hopefully with you. See my front leg right leg (left in the pic)? Well, my family had a drug problem, they didn't take care of me, and I was often out in the streets. Then, my family moved away and left me behind. I was hit by a car and hurt my wrist! By the time I was rescued, my broken wrist had healed to the point that my ortho surgeon  recommended letting me continue to heal because surgery could do more harm. I don’t even know I have an old injury - I run around and play and don’t notice a thing!

And now I‘m looking for a forever home with a family who will love me like I’ve always deserved. 

My Personality: I am a sweet, quiet, snuggly dog. I have only barked three times since I was rescued! I take plenty of naps but I am still excited every time I see my people. I also love treats. I like to lay right next to people and soak up some love. I get along with dogs, cats, and kids.
