We love our seniors and we love the angels who adopt them. Ernie was at San Bernardino City Shelter and his crooked smile won our hearts. He has few teeth left and the remaining ones were in bad shape so we had a dental dine. His xrays showed an old jaw break that never quite healed correctly, so our vet pulled a few teeth from the unbroken side and cleaned the remaining teeth on the broken side. 

Ernie is in no pain and he eats like a champ! He is happy to chomp on kibble soaked in warm water and high quality canned food (with fish, chicken and other treats mixed in now and then) - his coat went from dull, dry and flakey to shiny and soft!  

This sweet and friendly older gentleman gets along with all dogs but prefers a home with calm, okder dogs and kids old enough not to run around and scare him or step on him.
