Murphy is just a young boy (just over a year) but hasn’t had the best life. His first owners bought him for their teenage son who was supposed to train him and care for him...he didn’t, so the family surrendered him to their groomer, who is a retired service dog trainer. He was rehomed but wound up being jealous of the 2nd family’s other dogs, and he started a scuffle with one and then bit the owner when she pulled him away. He was returned to the groomer where he plays with other dogs all day and has had no biting incidents, but he will need a Golden lover who has dealt with behavior issues in the past who will commit to training. 

Although he is good with other dogs, he does need to be the only dog in the home because of the jelousy he exhibited in his 2nd home. Social time outside of a home environment, he does very well.
