14-year-old Riley just needs a quiet forever foster home in the San Bernardino area in which to lay on a soft couch and bask in the sun on warm afternoons on the back porch.

She was rescued from the San Bernardino City shelter with her 9-year-old buddy, Roscoe, after their owner passed away. Roscoe is so young-spirited, so he is enjoying himself in a foster home with several dogs to play with, whereas Riley prefers to rest. Riley has severe arthritis, is on pain meds and supplements, and enjoys short and slow strolls. She loves to laze in the sun and feel the breeze. A quiet home with other mellow dogs where she can go in and out as she pleases would be ideal. Because of her age, Cause for SB Paws will cover her food and vetting until her last days.

We don't know how much time she has left, but she is happy and content and would love a forever-foster home of her own with someone who has time to love her, give her medication, and get her to the vet for checkups.
