From her adopter who needs to rehome her:

I found myself at the shelter with a really badly hurt front leg, so they had to take it away. I don't really notice though! A human came and rescued me just in the nick of time. I love her and her big dog, but she has these little things called cats and I guess they aren't toys so she says we need to find a family for me. She says I'm really sweet, strong, and smart! I'm learning basic obedience commands really quickly, and I love to run and play in the yard with my dog friend!
I enjoy playing with toys and going for walks! I'll do just about anything for a treat, and I really love snuggling up as close as possible to humans for belly rubs and kisses. I am looking for my forever family! My foster mom loves me so much and knows that I'll bring love and light to any home! She says I'm one special pup.
Violet is about 2 years old and 60lbs. She has had a total right front leg amputation, but is able to walk and play without issue. She can tire out a little easily, but she'll let you know when she needs to rest! She is extremely strong and needs a home that will continue to work on her training. She needs a home with absolutely NO CATS. Violet is very clever, and while she is comfortable with her kennel she can unlatch and escape kennels and pens so a secure yard is a must. She has not been tested with small dogs, but she plays really well with her foster brother (an 85lb staffie mix). She's an absolute delight, and completely ready to go to her new home.
