Sweet & shy Bailey (AKA Nutmeg from Devore), was rescued in the nick of time! Her shy personality resulted in her being on Devore's euthanasia list the day she became available.

She is thriving at her foster mom's house, and loves playing with their Golden Retrievers, swimming, exploring, and playing fetch with her soccer ball! She is very gentle, loving and deserves her own home. Two families did trial adoptions - the first wanted to make sure Bailey and her dog would continue to get along well - they got along perfectly. But they decided in a few days it wasn't working because Bailey wouldn't go near the two men in the family. That was never discussed as something that would be a "deal breaker" and we extremely disappointed that this family only gave her a week. Her second "almost" family sent wonderful photos of Bailey and their dog. So we were extremely disappointed when they mentioned unknown allergies started and they brought her back the next day. 

No more of this for Bailey! She needs people committed to adopting a dog and loving her through thick and thin! She has done nothing to deserve all the "almost" adoptions. She has never once nipped at anyone despite her shyness and despite being let down over and over.
