Joey was found in a San Bernardino neighborhood, where she eluded people who tried to catch her and coyotes at night. She somehow survived for several weeks even with a bad limp. Finally a good Samaritan was able to catch her, she had surgery on her leg which turned out to be an old break that healed incorrectly, and now she is ready for a great home with a comfy couch to call her own!
